Direct Line offer two Home insurance polices, Direct Line Home Insurance and Direct Line Home Insurance Plus.
Direct Line Home Insurance Plus includes Accidental Damage cover as standard with both buildings and contents.
Direct Line Home Insurance does not include Accidental Damage as standard; however this optional cover can easily be added to your policy. For an additional premium and peace of mind you can cover your home and contents against those all too frequent day-to-day accidents and major DIY disasters.
Accidental damage cover added to your contents insurance includes cover for:
- Accidental Damage to Home entertainment equipment such as TVs, DVD players and computers
- Breakages to mirrors and glass
- Day-today accidents such as paint or wine spillages
Accidental damage cover added to your buildings insurance includes cover for:
- Accidental damage to underground drains, pipes and cables
- Accidental breakage to fixed glass and sanitary ware
DIY damage, such as drilling through a cable or putting your foot through a ceiling.
