By way of definition a van is a vehicle designed to carry goods and less than 4 passengers. The vehicle must weigh less than 3.5 tonnes GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight).

All drivers must be over 21 and have held a full UK/EU licence for at least 1 year.

If you select one of the following when obtaining your van insurance quotation the vehicle may only be used for Social, Domestic or Pleasure purposes: Motor Trade, Retired, Housewife / Househusband, Driver, Student and Unemployed. For all other occupations the vehicle may be used in connection with your business or those of your spouse, partner or civil partner (not business partner). Your business or the business of your employer is not in anyway connected with any of the following: the entertainment and fashion industry, professional sports, foreign service, foreign diplomatic personnel, mini-cab drivers or mini-cab controllers.
